Alex is the older sister. The serious one. The “achiever” and truth-teller.
She spent seven years in corporate consulting; but after walking through infertility, loss, and a high-risk pregnancy that doctors couldn’t save, but God – in His mercy – did, she decided to stay home full-time with her two children.
She lives with rheumatoid arthritis, but sees daily how God’s power is made perfect in weakness.
She’s passionate about vulnerability and dreams of one day having a saltwater pool in the sunshine. Because nothing says vulnerability quite like swimsuits.
Abigail is the younger sister. The whimsical one. The dreamer and grace-giver.
She’s currently a graduate student at Duke Divinity School, but she’s done everything from work in child advocacy to direct an art gallery; when she’s not studying, you’ll find her gardening in the dirt of Duke Gardens or writing songs.
She’s walked through seasons of anxiety and depression, and still sometimes struggles to stay in the light. But that’s why she’s passionate about pushing back the darkness through worship and healing prayer.
She dreams of one day being a missionary and creating a space where everyone belongs.
